Publication Date:  2019-04-25 Views:  39 Downloads:  0
Issue Description

The camera IP address is forgotten, the camera cannot be connected to the network, and no tool is available.

Alarm Information

No IPC TOOL.
·The camera is directly connected to the PC. The Wireshark tool is installed on the PC.

Handling Process
1. Open the Wireshark, select the network adapter that directly connects to the camera, and click Start to start capturing packets.

2. Restart the camera (power-on and power-off). Wait for about 2 minutes until the camera restarts.
Search for a specified packet: On the Wireshark interface, press Ctrl+f to search for the packet. Select String and Packet bytes, enter onvif, and click Find.

3. Confirm the camera IP address: If the corresponding packet is found, the search box disappears and the packet is automatically selected. In this example, the camera IP address is 3.4.30.203.

4. Configure the local IP address and gateway.

5. Ping the camera and check whether the network connection is normal. If the network connection is normal, you can log in to the camera web UI for further confirmation.

Suggestions
The camera must be restarted. Otherwise, the camera IP address cannot be captured.
