Abnormal Directory Displayed on VCN3010 Due to Incorrect Directory Configuration on Uniview Platform When VCN3010 Connects to Uniview Platform Through T28181+

Publication Date:  2019-04-25 Views:  24 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
The VCN3010 (V100R002C50SPC100) connects to the Uniview platform through the T28181+ external domain. The Uniview serves as the lower-level platform and shares the camera with the VCN3010. A 4-Level directory (including cameras) is planned on the Uniview platform. However, after the directory is pushed to the VCN3010, only three levels are displayed on the IVS client.
The directory structure and codes of the Uniview platform are as follows:
Level 1: Uniview platform. Code: 36000000042000000100;
Level 2: Area video. Code: 36000000042090100000;
Level 3: Eight teams. Code: 36000000041180810000;
Level 4: Specific video point, for example, ** highway 01. Code: 25100000001310100400.
The following figure shows the directory structure displayed on the VCN3010 client. The third level directory is missing.

Handling Process
Capture packets on the VCN3010, perform directory synchronization, and capture directory data pushed by the Uniview platform.
Search for the code 25100000001310100400 of ** highway 01 point in the captured packets, and view the code of the directory to which the point is directly mounted. (You can use the notepad to open the packets and search for the code.)

You can see that ParentID in the push message is 36000000041180810000, the code of the eight teams in the directory. This indicates that the Uniview platform has pushed this directory to the VCN3010.
According to the description of the external domain code in the GB/T, 118 (11th to 13th digits) indicates that this is a main device (NVR). The main device cannot be used as the directory. Therefore, the directory of this level is not displayed on the VCN3010.

Root Cause
The directory code configured on the Uniview platform does not comply with the GB/T. As a result, the directory is not displayed on the VCN3010.
The code of the directory is modified.
