Account Is Locked Frequently Because an Incorrect Password Is Used for Login

Issue Description

When a user logs in to the IVS client using an account, the system displays a message indicating that the account is locked. The account is locked again after being unlocked using the Admin account.

Handling Process

1. Log in to the OMU portal of the VCN, click Fault Collection, and select the active domain server to collect SMU logs.

2. Open the collected SMU logs.

3. It is found that the device whose IP address is uses an incorrect password to log in to the IVS. After services for this device are stopped, the account is restored.

Root Cause

The customer changed the password of the account recently, the login passwords of the servers that connect to the Huawei platform through the SDK are not changed, and the old password is always used for access. As a result, the account is locked frequently.
