Screen Blurring Occurs in the MCU Cascading Scenario When the Upper-Level MCU Switches to the Image of a Lower-Level MCU

Issue Description

In the MCU cascading scenario, screen blurring occurs when the upper-level ViewPoint 8660 switches to the image of a lower-level VP9650. The image no longer blurs after it returns to normal some time later, but the problem occurs again after another switching.

Handling Process

1. According to the network data on the lower-level SMC, packet loss occurs at the lower level once the upper level switches the image.

2. According to the captured packets of the lower-level mirroring, packet loss occurs when the VP9650 MCU sends packets to the upper-level ViewPoint 8660. Therefore, the problem generated at the lower-level.

3. No internal packet loss is found through the mswt error command.

4. According to onsite engineers, the problem does not occur if the ViewPoint 8650 is used at the lower level. As the ViewPoint 8650 and VP9650 are connected to the same switch, no network problem is expected to exist. Configurations are compared as follows:

The I frame forwarding interval is set to 3 for the ViewPoint 8650.

Run the following commands to change the value of the VP9650 to 60:

system-view conf-policy iframe-interval main 3

save

The problem is solved after the modification.
