After the computer where the SMC1.0 resides is restarted, the ViewPoint 8650 MCU goes offline. Before the restart, services are normal and no parameter is modified.
1. Confirm that the MCU can successfully ping the SMC's IP address.
2. Check the license of the SMC. The SMC can manage two MCUs. Currently, only one MCU is managed. This rules out the license problem. Log in to the MCU to check alarms. No alarm is found. The MCU is running properly.
3. Log in to the MCU through SSH and run the following commands: agenttcp connectnum agenttcp connectstatus. The command results are as follows:
According to the command results, the MCU is connected to the IP address 10.188.110.89, which is not the IP address of the current SMC.
4. Find the computer where the 10.188.110.89 IP address belongs, shut down the software, and restart the MCU. The fault is rectified.
