After the SMC2.0 is reinstalled, the ESN obtained by the ESN maker is inconsistent with the ESN displayed on the SMC2.0. As a result, the license cannot be imported.
1. Use the ESN maker to obtain the ESNs of all network adapters. To obtain the ESNs of all network adapters, enable only one network adapter at a time with all other network adapters disabled, perform a restart, and then use the ESN maker to obtain the ESN of the currently enabled network adapter. All obtained ESNs are found inconsistent with those in the current SMC2.0 license.
2. Download the ESN maker of the same version as that used for the onsite SMC2.0. User this ESN maker version to obtain ESNs again. Now the obtained ESNs are consistent with those in the current SMC2.0 license. Then, the license can be successfully imported after it is updated with the newly obtained ESNs.
ESN values were changed in an earlier version of the ESN maker. You are advised to use the ESN maker of the same version as that used for the SMC2.0 to obtain ESNs.
