After traversal between public and private networks is configured for an IP site on the SMC2.0, no image is available after the IP site joins a conference. The IP site is in the public network, and the SMC2.0 are MCU are both in the intranet.
1. Confirm that the dual-NIC traversal configuration is correct on the embedded SC of the SMC2.0.
2. No image is available even after the defaultzone media routing is selected.
3. According to signaling analysis for the SC, during the SC's communication with the terminal, the source device address in the setup message is the MCU address instead of the SC address. It is confirmed that the terminal directly communicates with the MCU instead of the SC. As a result, media communication fails because the MCU cannot directly communicate with a terminal IP address in the external network.
As shown in the preceding figure, 218.202.135.XXX is the external IP address of the SC, 1.202.139.XXX is the external IP address of the terminal, and 220.127.116.11 is the intranet IP address of the MCU.
4. Select defaultzone media routing, run system-view h323-config on the MCU, and change the value of enable Call IP ARQ mode to 0. Then the image is available after the IP site is called into a conference.
Media routing of an IP site passes through defaultzone. Therefore, media routing needs to be enabled. The MCU cannot communicate with a terminal IP address in the public network. Therefore, media communication must be implemented between the SC and the terminal.
Enable defaultzone media routing for the SC, and forcibly direct the IP site's media streams to the SC by setting enable Call IP ARQ mode to 0 on the MCU.
In a non-standard networking environment, you need to find out the root cause of the problem. Media communication fails because the MCU cannot directly communicate with an IP site.
