Web Page of the CTI USM and CMS Co-installed Server Cannot Be Opened

Issue Description

The CTI USM and CMS are installed on the same server. After a power-off restart of the server in the customer's equipment room, the web page of the CMS cannot be opened.

Alarm Information


Handling Process

1. The CMS log catalina.out shows that the CMS service and Tomcat are both started normally.

2. However, the web page still cannot be opened. Further check a normal CMS server in the lab:

The java process ID of the CMS is 32554. Port 9243 is occupied by the CMS.

3. On the customer site, port 9243 is not occupied by the CMS. Therefore, the port number in the /home/cms/CMS_Release/conf/server.xml configuration file of the CMS is changed to 9245. Then the web page can be opened normally,

Root Cause

Port 9243 is occupied by another program, resulting in a failure to access the web page of the CMS.


Change the port number in the CMS configuration file server.xml to 9245.


You are advised not to install the CTI USM and CMS on the same server. Proper port planning is also required.
