Solution

The ARP entry is updated before the ARP aging time expires. Generally, this situation occurs due to update of TC BPDUs, but the number of received TC BPDUs is small.

It is recommended that static ARP be configured. The problem persists when static ARP is configured. Through remote check, it is found that the MAC address of the peer end is learned in VLAN 1. Because DHCP is configured in VLAN 1 on the S2700, DHCP packets in VLAN 1 are sent. As a result, the MAC address of the S5700 is incorrect. Delete the command to solve the problem:

#

interface Vlanif1

ip address dhcp-alloc

#
