customer's live network, two FusionAccess V100R006C10 systems are deployed. The
two systems are located in different subnets and communicate with each other
through point-to-point ports. FusionAccess at the location where the license
server is located is in the normal state. After license server-related ports
are enabled and connect to the remote FusionAccess, VMs can be provisioned
remotely. However, the local ITA fails to provision VMs and the WI cannot work
properly. It is suspected that the ITA server fails to communicate with the AD
server properly. Restart the ITA server. The ITA service fails to start.
The ITA service of the VM on which the
license server is deployed fails to work properly.
1. Restart the VM where the license
server is located (ITA, DB, WI, and license are deployed in converged mode).
The WI still cannot display the pooled VMs sent to user groups.
2. Check ITA logs and find that some
files cannot be read. Check the file path and find that the files exist.
3. Reinstall the ITA service and
restore related configurations. The ITA service still cannot work properly.
4. Check the ITA log again and find
that the ITA service attempts to reconnect to the AD server during startup.
5. It is suspected that ITA does not
properly communicate with the AD server. Parsing the AD address fails.
6. Check DNS and AD configurations of
the VM. It is found that remote AD and DNS nodes are configured, which cannot
be accessed locally.
7. Change the DNS and AD addresses to
the local node and restart the ITA service. The ITA service works properly.
Log in to the local ITA platform and issue DNS and domain control
configurations again. The local ITA service works properly.
When ITA in the remote
FusionAccess system interconnects with the local license server, it sends the
remote domain controller and DNS information to the local license server. Local
ITA cannot access remote AD and DNS nodes due to firewall policies. As a
result, the system cannot work properly.
It is not recommended that multiple
FusionAccess systems use the same license server.
If multiple FusionAccess systems use
the same license server, it is advised to deploy the license server on a
