Disk of the FusionStorage Access Server Is Not in Position

Issue Description

FusionStorage fails to be initialized. As a result, the host disk cannot be identified and the underlying system fails to be tested.

Handling Process

1. Log in to the host and check the disk status. The disk on the host is properly identified.

Log in to CNA and check the host model and RAID controller card information.

Check the RAID configuration file. The RAID controller card driver must be installed with perccli

Check the RAID controller card driver installation information. The perccli Raid card driver is not installed.

Log in to the Dell official website, download and install the RAID controller card driver, and restart the host system. The fault is rectified.

Root Cause

In the FusionStorage scenario, the perccli Raid card driver must be installed on the RAID controller card of the Dell server. Otherwise, FusionStorage cannot identify the disk and the disk is not in position.
