FAQ-Can an Interface of the S9300 Forward Single-tagged Packets After Selective QinQ Is Configured on the Interface

Issue Description

After QinQ is configured between two switches, the trunk interface cannot forward single-tagged packets are can be directly forwarded originally. The inner VLAN ID and outer VLAN ID in QinQ packets are not the VLAN ID of a single-tagged packet.

After VLAN stacking is configured, the peer 10.1.1.1 cannot be pinged on the VLANIF 99 interface.

Solution

After VLAN stacking is configured on some cards of the S9300, there is a restraint on single-tagged packets. The detailed information is as follows:


After the port vlan-mapping vlan 99 map-vlan 99 command is run on the interface, the fault is rectified.
