TE30 fails to schedule a conference call via Site Call

Issue Description

The TE30 Site Call or video conference can not be set up successfully after the version upgrade process.

The user has an audit check yearly and found that the current (old) version of the TE30 is under risk level or vulnerability of medium level.

Once the version has been upgraded, the user fails to schedule a conference call. The user is able to schedule the call successfully before the upgrading process.However, after the upgrade it will automatically disconnect after 20 seconds automatically. 

Handling Process

1.TE30 version V600R006C10SPC400.

2.The call keeps on setting up and hang up continuously. Usually Call been disconnect 20 second because no Media Stream is due to Firewall Block the Port.

Hence, for this case, it is due to Network Error. (Note : Network can be Line or Wireless Network)


3.Collect the logs and export them to do the analysis.

4.Check the conference settings.

Root Cause

After the upgrading process, the TEX0 settings change to 'Wifi Preferred' enabled and causes the user to fail to schedule the conference call from LAN network.

Solution

The Wi-Fi network preferred settings were disabled and the video conference can be set up and receive the media successfully.

(Home>System Settings>Conference>Wi-Fi network preferred>Disable).
