Issue Description

This topic describes how to troubleshoot the fault that the number of available convergence gateway channels on the CGW of the SMC2.0 is 0.

Solution

1.      Log in to the SMC2.0 web page.

2.      Check the license of the SMC.

If the Maximum number of convergence gateway channels is 65, the license data is correct. If the Maximum number of convergence gateway channels is 130 or 195, contact Huawei engineers to apply for a new license.

3.     If the SMC2.0 version is earlier than V500R002C00SPC900, use either of the following methods to rectify the fault:

−  The CGW does not obtain the license file from the SMC. Replace the License.dll file in the D:\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\Converge Gateway\bin\ directory on the SMC2.0 with the License.dll file in the SmcInstall\SMC 2.0\Bin_x86\ directory of the original installation package of the SMC2.0 server.

−  Back up all contents in the D:\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\Converge Gateway\bin\ directory of the CGW and replace the CGW directory. After the replacement is complete, update the configuration information in the D:\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\Converge Gateway\bin\MonitorManageService\ CgwMonitorManageConfig.xml configuration file to the existing file.

After the restoration is complete, restart the CGW and Monitor services. Log in to the SMC2.0 web and check whether the configuration takes effect.
