The methods for handling the GK offline issues

Issue Description

The customer feedbacks that the site cannot join the conference.

Alarm Information

None

Handling Process

1. Check the logs of the operating system, no abnormal information about GK service is found.

2. Check the service address of gkcfg.ini in the GK configuration file. It is found that the Service-address provided by GK has been configured to 127.0.0.1

Root Cause

GK cannot obtain the actual IP of the server with a low probability when the Service-address is configured to 127.0.0.1.

Solution

In the gkcfg.ini configuration file, some parameters that need to be configured are as below:

1.      Fill in GMK address in the ‘SM-IP’. (Don’t fill in 127.0.0.1, use the actual IP address)

2.      Fill in your own address in the ‘IP-Management. (Don’t fill in 127.0.0.1, use the actual IP address)

3.      Fill in the service address provided by the GK for external systems, that is, the address registered by the terminal and the MCU (Do not fill in 127.0.0.1, use the actual address)
