Issue Description

NTP server—CE ---S device

CE6880 --- Devices can't align with NTP server

Alarm Information

When display ntp service all Synchronization distance greater than distance threshold we found the reason

Handling Process

1- Ping is ok from NTP server to NTP client

2- When debugging ntp-service all it show the reason "Synchronization distance greater than distance threshold"

Root Cause

The synchronization distance is greater than the distance threshold. As a result, the synchronization fail

Run the ntp-service max-distance 16 command to configure the maximum NTP synchronization distance threshold.

Because the maximum NTP synchronization distance by a switch ranges from 1 to 16 secondes, if the dispersion to the reference clock is greater than 16 secondes, the synchronization will fail

If the maximum NTP synchronization distance is smaller than the dispersion to the primary reference clock (specified by root disper) => display ntp session verbose to output the root disper value

So according to the disper value we have to assign the synchronization distance
