After providing the two verified ways to backup esight data and files in local server or remote server: Automatic Backup and Immediate(Manual) Backup.
During the backup operation customer attach extra other vendor hard drive by itself to backup the files and copy eSight/AppBase/backup file to the external hard drive so he faced this error: "Cannot mount volume"
Cannot mount volume:
Confirm two points:
the server in which eSight is installed: Huawei RH 5885 V3
External Hard drive is connected on USB port on physical server
For the error description, we beleive there is an issue with the hard drive file system type (error that appear clearly describe the mounting issue)
Third party file system issue
By formatting and changing the drive format to ext-3 (file system) then unmount and mount the disk again (unmount -a then mount -a (Linux command line)), the issue is cleared and the esight backup is done succesufully to the third part hard drive.
