Issue Description

How to identify the subboard type and whether a port on NE40&NE80 is an optical or electrical port?

Version: V300R002, V300R003, V300R005


You can run the display version command to display information about a subboard.

1. The first letter indicates the board type. E-Ethernet, P-POS port, A-ATM port.

2. The second letter indicates the number of ports. G-16, W-32, 4-4.

3. The third letter indicates the bandwidth. G-Gbit/s, F-100 Mbit/s, H-622 Mbit/s, C-155 Mbit/s.

4. The fourth letter indicates the port type. E-electrical port, C/F-optical port .


E4GFF indicates a 4-port Gigabit Ethernet optical interface LPU (SFP optical module).

P2HF indicates a 2-port OC-12c/STM-64c POS optical interface LPU (SFP optical module).

E8FE indicates an 8-port 10M/100M Ethernet electrical PIM card.

A8CF indicates an 8-port OC-3/STM-1 ATM optical interface PIM card (SFP optical module).
