Solution
NE5000E has supported saving of fan speed since V2R2B039SP15. By defaut, the fan works in auto mode. If the fan speed is changed and saved for NE5000E V2R2B039SP15, the fan works in auto mode after the NE5000E is reset. For NE5000E V2R2B039SP15 or later, the changed and saved fan speed is valid even after the NE5000E is reset.
