Handling Process

Possible causes include:

1. The board hardware had a fault.

2. NE40E running V6R1 did not support the board (BOM number: 03030ETR)

Huawei performed the following operations to address the problem:

1. Checked the mapping table and confirmed that 4*OC-12c LPUG board was supported in V6R1.

2. Install the board on an NE80E and the problem did not occur, indicating the board hardware was normal.

3. Confirmed that NE40E-X3 did not support LPUG board.

Root Cause

NE40E-X3s do not support LPUG boards.

Replace the LPUG board with an LPUF board.

In V6R1, only NE40E-X3s do not support LPUG boards.
