NE40E Configurations Failed to Be Delivered Through SNMP from a Third-Party NMS

Issue Description

Version: VRP (R) software, Version 5.70 (NE40&80 V600R001C00SPCe00)


An attempt to deliver configurations to an NE40E to collect performance data about ping delay failed from a third-party NMS, whereas an attempt on other NE40Es succeeded.



An alarm that indicated the configuration failure was displayed.  

Handling Process

Field engineers obtained CF2 logs using the following command:

display curr

display version

display patch

display alarm all


Huawei found the number of NQA test instances reached the upper threshold (2000).

Note: NQA refers to the network quality analysis tool.  

Root Cause

The number of NQA test instances reached the upper threshold.


Delete undesired NQA test instances.


Delete undesired configurations after test operations and regularly delete undesired configurations during maintenance periods.
