A Main Control Board on an NE80E Could Not Be Registered Because Its Memory Was Faulty

Issue Description
The standby main control board on an NE80E failed to be registered. After being switched to the active state, the board automatically switched to the standby state after a period of time and still could not be registered.
Handling Process

To address the issue, Huawei performed the following operations and observed the following information:

1. Reseated the board. The problem persisted.

2. Replaced the board with a new one using the original memory bar. The problem persisted.

3. Checked the registration information about the new board using the console interface and found that the board printed the following messages repeatedly:

The SDRAM testing ................................ fail! 
SDRAM five step test fail, address: 0x00A75268                             
System reboot... ?  

4. Reseated the new board. The problem persisted.

5. Replaced the memory bar with a new one. The problem was resolved.
Root Cause
The memory bar of the main control board was faulty.
Replaced the faulty memory bar.
It is recommended to replace hardware components to locate hardware-related faults and record equipment status after each replacement.
