Publication Date:  2012-07-19 Views:  460 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
When a user attempt to log in to the VSM, the system displays a message indicating that the number of online users has reached the limit allowed by the license and the login attempt fails.
Alarm Information
Handling Process

1. Open the license file with Notepad and check whether the LSW1CONN01 field exists.

In the license template, the number of online users allowed by the license is determined by the LSW1CONN01 field.

2.  If the LSW1CONN01 field does not exist, contact Huawei Symantec technical support engineers to apply for a license.

3.  If the LSW1CONN01 field exists and the value is not 0, contact an administrator with super privilege to force off some users and try again.

Root Cause

l          Cause 1: The use does not buy the number of clients allowed by the license.

l          Cause 2: The current online users have reached the maximum limit allowed by the license.

By default, the number of online users that can be managed by the VSM is 0. The customer must buy a license capacity to manage a number of devices.
