How to Troubleshoot the Fault that the Image Decoding Displays Slowly and Some Frames Skip

Publication Date:  2012-07-23 Views:  244 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
When a single- or multi-channel image is being displayed, the display of the image becomes slower and the image is displayed and some of its frames skip frequently. This problem is more obvious in playing high-definition videos or playing back multi-channel images. It is found in the Task Manager that the CPU usage is above 80% or keeps at 100%.
Alarm Information
Handling Process

Step 1  Close the videos one by one until the CPU usage becomes lower than 80%.
Step 2  Reduce the encoding bit rates of remote videos one by one, for example, from 2 Mbit/s to 1 Mbit/s.
Step 3  Stop other CPU-consuming processes and release the CPU resources for the video playback.
Root Cause
Minimize the client program, open the Task Manager, and view CPU Usage or CPU Usage History on the Performance tag page.
