Disk Becoming Full When the DC Generates Many Logs

Publication Date:  2012-07-23 Views:  365 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
In the tklog folder in the server/log path, the log files beginning with debug soar and each of these log files is about 10 MB.
Alarm Information
Handling Process

1.         Log in to the System Monitor and restart the DC process.

2.         Manually clear log files in the tklog folder in the vsm/Server/log path.

Root Cause
Because of network quality, the DC is disconnected from NEs when receiving NE data. A logic problem exists when the DC processes the exception. As a result, the error message 'Recv Msg Head error' is repeatedly printed in log files and the disk becomes full.

1.         Check whether the log files beginning with debug in the tklog folder soar.
2.         Open a log file beginning with debug. It is found that the error message 'CTcpSocket::handle_input() Recv Msg Head error!' is repeatedly printed in the log file.
