Configuring vLB Access in HTTP Mode

Publication Date:  2015-03-10 Views:  798 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Some offices need to use the HTTP to access the WI server. In this case, if the vLB is used, the WI page may be returned to the login page. If the third-party authentication mode is used, the WI page may be returned to the logout page.
Handling Process
1. Log in to the vLB server, go to /opt/HAProxy/conf, and open the haproxy.cfg configuration file.

2. Change srvtimeout 5000 to srvtimeout 80000, and balance roundrobin to balance    source.

3. Log in to the vLB server as user root using Putty, and run the service HAProxy restart command.
Root Cause
The load balancing algorithm configured for port 80 in the vLB is that the session information is not stored. Therefore, the system may display that the session is invalid and logs out the user.
