Publication Date:  2015-04-17 Views:  332 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Version information:
SoftCo: V100R002C04SPC300
UC: V100R001C02SPC100

After the official licenses of the SoftCo9500 and BMU have been loaded, all the eSpace users cannot log in to the eSpace clients and Incorrect UC account or password, or this UC account does not have the right to use this program is displayed.
Handling Process
Step 1 Ask the customer to provide the temporary and official license files. Analyze the license files. It is found that the temporary license contains the multi-domain permission but the official license contains the single-domain permission.

Step 2 Ask the customer to reconfigure the user data after loading the official license. However, after the user data is reconfigured, it is found that the client still cannot be logged in to. Additionally, in the client installation directory, the LOG directory generated by using the temporary license disappears after clicking Login. Consequently, no client logs can be collected.

Step 3 Ask the customer to capture a screenshot of the client login page when the customer uses the temporary license and a screenshot of the login failure when the customer uses the official license. It is found that the option of enterprise domain is unavailable when the customer uses the single-domain license but is selected when using the multi-domain license.

Step 4 Log in to the BMU to check the enterprise management tab. It is found that the enterprise domain name is changed to HWxian instead of the default domain name sysdomain. According to this, it is determined that the fault is caused by inconsistency of the client and server domain names. Consequently, the eSpace client cannot be logged in to.

Step 5 Import the temporary license to change the enterprise domain name to sysdomain. The problem is solved.

Root Cause
The possible cause is that the official license is incorrect.
The temporary license used by the customer first is multi-domain that allows adding and modifying domain names. The customer changes the default domain name sysdomain to other names such as HWxian. Then the customer loads the official license that is single-domain that does not allow modifying the domain name HWxian.

The R&D personnel are advised to make a single- or multi-domain temporary license based on the site requirements.
