Orphan disk that is not possible delete or associate to a Virtual Machine

Issue Description

Customer problem description:

We have in our customer xxxxx a low impact problem with Fusion Compute about an orphan disk that is not possible delete or associate to a Virtual Machine.

It is like the disk is not ready and I can not do any operation with it. It is possible that this disk was old test that is there from the beginning

When the customer is trying  to safely delete the disk he get the message “The volume status is not USE”.




Normally when appear this situation, should be some residual data in the database, and the status of the disk is special in the bottom.

We check the disk system in the data base to see if it is in abnormal - normal status => If it is in abnormal state we update the volume to be in normal state =>  We can see that the status after the volume update is changed in USE => and now we can DELETE the disk.

  Here we check the system, and found the status of the disk is abnormal in the database, you can check it as below:

            Now, we have update the volume to the normal status as below:

            Now, we can delete it successfully, you can check the result as below:
