Application Description 1) Service Description During network deployment, data configuration scripts need to be prepared based on hardware configuration, network planning data, and interconnection data negotiated with other devices before a successfully installed base station controllers is commissioned. After the base station controller is commissioned, calls can be made or received. The process of preparing data scripts is referred to as initial configuration. Initial configuration guides for base station controllers help you configure data configuration scripts for the BSC6900 or BSC6910 in GSM, UMTS, or GU network mode using MML commands or the CME. If MML commands are used, you can directly start script preparation. If the CME is used, you can start script preparation only after connecting the NE to the U2000. 2) Documentation Description 1. Each initial configuration guide describes how to configure scripts using a configuration method for a specific type of base station controller in a network mode. For example, if you need to configure scripts using MML commands for a BSC6910 in a UMTS network, see BSC6910 UMTS Initial Configuration Guide (MML-Based).  2.
