Controller OMU Administration Guide

1) Service Description

The OMU, functioning as the operation and maintenance center (OMC) of a base station controller, is connected to the LMT, U2000, and boards in a cabinet. After the O&M system and product software are installed on the OMU, O&M engineers can perform O&M management (such as alarm management, configuration management, and authentication management) on the base station controller using service processes on the OMU board.

          The OMU functions as the OMC of the base station controller, and therefore, its O&M management is also very important. OMU Administration Guide provides guidance for O&M engineers to perform OMU O&M management.
