Configuring Ethernet Interfaces

Applicable Environment

You can configure the Ethernet interface to transmit data packets over the Ethernet.

When you configure an Ethernet interface, assign an IP address to it. For other parameters, you can use default values. If you have to change them, keep them consistent with the peer device.

Data Preparation

1. To configure an Ethernet interface, you need the following data:
2. Number of interfaces
3. IP address and mask of the Ethernet interface
4. MTU of the Ethernet interface
5. Operating speed of the Ethernet interface
6. Duplex operating mode of the Ethernet interface
