Subject: End of Life Announcement for Some Huawei AR G3 Series Routers

 

Dear Customers,

To help you discern market changes and adapt to technology development and innovation, Huawei announces this milestone of some Huawei AR G3 Series Routers.

The EOM date of some Huawei AR G3 Series Routers (Routers are specific to: AR2240(SRU80-DC),AR3260(SRU40-DC), same as below ) is Dec 31, 2014. Huawei will not accept new orders or capacity expansion orders after Dec 31, 2014.

The EOS date of these AR G3 Series Routers is Dec 31, 2019. After Dec 31, 2019, you will not receive any technical support, including the customer service hotline. You can still download FAQs and troubleshooting cases at http://support.huawei.com/enterprise one year after the EOS date.

Table 1 describes the end of life milestones, definitions, and dates for these AR G3 Series Routers.

End of Marketing. The EOM date is the date from which the acceptance of the PO (including new and expansion offices) is rejected. The product is not sold any longer after the date.

End of Service & Support. It refers to the last date of the service. After the EOS date, Huawei does not provide any service for the product.

Huawei would like to advise that you move or upgrade your products to the newer version/release in order to continue and enjoy Huawei’s high level service. The recommended replacements are other AR G3 series routers.
