Huawei OceanStor Dorado series products use RAID-TP algorithm, which can tolerate the simultaneous failure of three disks in the system, without affecting services. In addition, the algorithm distributes hot spare space to all disks. If a disk fails, all disks participate in the data reconstruction. The rebuild time per TB is thus reduced from 5 hours to 15 minutes, effectively coping with the consequent rebuild time and risk of data loss caused by increasing the capacity of a single disk.
