RAID Controller Card Not Healthy in Device Manager
Symptoms
On the Device Manager screen, the message "Some drivers are not healthy" is displayed, as shown in Figure 12-74.
Solution
- Select Some drivers are not healthy and press Enter.
The health status screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 12-75.
- Select Repair the whole platform and press Enter.
The Driver Healthy Protocol Utility screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 12-76.
- Check the message displayed on the Driver Healthy Protocol Utility screen.
- The following VDs have missing disks: See Error Message: "The Following VDs Have Missing Disks".
- Some configured disks have been removed from your system or All of the disks from your previous configuration are gone: See Error Message: "Some Configured Disks Have Been Removed from Your System/All of the Disks from Your Previous Configuration Are Gone".

Error Message: "The Following VDs Have Missing Disks"
Symptoms
On the Driver Healthy Protocol Utility screen, the message "The following VDs have missing disks" is displayed, as shown in Figure 12-77.
Solution
- Repair the RAID controller card.
- On the screen shown in Figure 12-77, select Enter Your Input Here and press Enter.
An input box is displayed.
- Type c, select Yes, and press Enter.
The Driver Healthy Protocol Utility screen is displayed.
- Select Enter Your Input Here again and press Enter.
An input box is displayed.
- Type y, select Yes, and press Enter.
The system displays "Critical Message handling completed. Please exit." The repairing is completed.
- On the screen shown in Figure 12-77, select Enter Your Input Here and press Enter.
- Restart the server and check whether the message "The platform is healthy" is displayed on the Device Manager screen.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, contact technical support.
Error Message: "Some Configured Disks Have Been Removed from Your System/All of the Disks from Your Previous Configuration Are Gone"
Symptoms
When you go to the Driver Healthy Protocol Utility screen, the message Some configured disks have been removed from your system or All of the disks from your previous configuration are gone is displayed, as shown in Figure 12-78.
Solution
The message indicates that drives are not detected by the RAID controller card, which is not caused by the RAID controller card itself. You are advised to perform the following operations based on actual needs:
- Power off the server and check whether cables are properly connected and whether any drive is removed. If there is no abnormalities, power on the server and check whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm is cleared, the fault is rectified. If the alarm persists, contact technical support.
- Ignore the message and perform the following steps to go to the RAID controller card main screen:
- On the screen shown in Figure 12-78, select Enter Your Input Here and press Enter.
An input box is displayed.
- Type c, select Yes or Ok, and press Enter.
- Select Enter Your Input Here again and press Enter.
An input box is displayed.
- Type y, select Yes or Ok, and press Enter.
The system displays "Critical Message handling completed. Please exit."
- Press Esc to return to the Device Manager screen.
- Select the SAS3416iMR RAID controller card and press Enter. The RAID controller card main screen is displayed.
- On the screen shown in Figure 12-78, select Enter Your Input Here and press Enter.
Error Message: Disabling Writes To Flash As the Flash Part Has Gone Bad
Symptoms
After the Driver Healthy Protocol Utility screen is displayed, "Disabling writes to flash as the flash part has gone bad" is displayed.
Solution
- Power off the server.
- Replace the RAID controller card.
- Power on the server and import the foreign configuration to restore the original RAID configuration. For details, see Importing or Clearing a Foreign Configuration or Viewing, Importing, and Clearing External Configurations.Check whether the message is cleared.
- If yes, no further action is required.
- If no, contact technical support.
