Deleting a HyperMetro Pair
You can delete HyperMetro pairs that are no longer needed.
Prerequisites
Pair Running Status must be Paused, Force Start, Invalid, or To be synchronized.
If Pair Running Status is Invalid, you can only delete the local storage system's configuration information. To delete the remote storage system's configurations, you must perform this operation on the remote storage system separately.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Go to the NAS HyperMetro page.
The operation path varies with user types:
- System user: Click vStore, select the desired vStore, and click Details to go to the vStore view. Choose Data Protection > HyperMetro.
- vStore user: In the vStore view, choose Data Protection > HyperMetro.
- Select the HyperMetro pair that you want to delete and click Delete.
The Warning dialog box is displayed.
- (Optional) If Pair Running Status is Invalid or the local and remote storage systems are disconnected, select Only delete the configuration information about the local device if the HyperMetro vStore pair fails or the remote device is disconnected.
You must select this item to delete the HyperMetro pair.
- Select I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation and click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation is successful.
