The CDU interworks with the air/liquid heat exchanger to transfer the heat from the CPUs, voltage regulator devices (VRDs), and GPUs from the secondary side to the primary side, which further transfers the heat to the cooling tower and then to the exterior. The CDU implements flow distribution, pressure control, and condensation prevention of the secondary side.

Two types of CDUs are available: CDU cabinet (305 kW) and CDU box (30 kW).

The CDU cabinet is used to support more than five cabinets.

The CDU box is used to support fewer than five cabinets.
