The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 7 . |
index |
Specifies the index of a DCN statistics table. |
The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 4294967295 . |
slot slot_id |
Specifies a slot ID. The value range varies with routers. |
The value is a string of 1 to 15 case-sensitive characters. It cannot contain spaces. |
Usage Guidelines
To view DCN statistics tables on an interface board, run the display fe slot fe-id table dcn-stat command.
Example
The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.
<HUAWEI> system-view [~HUAWEI] diagnose [~HUAWEI-diagnose] display fe slot 7 fe-id 0 table dcn-stat 10 Table: DCN-STAT table ------------------------------------ StatId : 12 EnDcn : 1
display mpu neid
Function
The display mpu neid command displays the NE ID value wrote into flash memory of a main control board.
Parameters
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
slot slot-id |
The available slot. |
The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters. It cannot contain spaces. |
Usage Guidelines
Usage Scenario
When you need to query the neid value written in the flash of the main control board, run this command.
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
Example
The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.
<HUAWEI> system-view [~HUAWEI] diagnose [~HUAWEI-diagnose] display ipu slot 3 neid NEID : 0x010001 INDEX: 0x0
<HUAWEI> system-view [~HUAWEI] diagnose [~HUAWEI-diagnose] display mpu slot 3 neid NEID : 0x010001 INDEX: 0x0 NEID : 0x010001 INDEX: 0x1
set mainboard neid
Function
The set mpu neid command sets a 24-bit NE ID that is written into an MPU in a specific slot of a device. After the device is powered on, the VRP reads the NE ID and generates an NE IP address.
Parameters
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
neid id-number |
Specifies the network element ID. |
The value ranges is 10001 to fefffe , in hexadecimal notation. |
slot slot-id |
Specifies a slot ID. |
The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters without spaces. |
Usage Guidelines
Usage Scenario
Before shipment, an NE ID is written into an MPU. To set the NE ID run the set mpu neid command. After the device is powered on, the VRP reads the NE ID and generates an NE IP address used to negotiate with the DCN protocol. Implementation Before shipment, the NE ID of each device is written into flash memory.
Implementation Procedure
Before factory, the production equipment executes the command line to write the Flash Neid process.
Configuration Impact
If the NE ID in flash memory conflicts with that of another device, the VRP reads the NE ID and generates an NE ID conflict alarm.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
As a unique identifier of a DCN network element, the NEID must ensure the unique NEID of all the device nodes in the network. NEIDs of all NEs in the same DCN network can not collide with each other. Otherwise, the DCN network can not communicate.
