Configuring the VoIP (POTS Phone) Service

This section describes how to configure the SIP-based VoIP phone service.

Data Planning

Configuring the Local Login Web UI. Configuring the Local Login Web UI
Configure the port VLAN.
Choose Advanced > LAN > Port VLAN Configuration. In the right pane, perform the following operations:
- Click NEW to create a VoIP service VLAN. Set VLAN Name to VOIP_DEFAUL and VLAN ID to 600, and select LAN4 and Downlink PON port in Port list. After the configuration is complete, click Apply.
- Click Layer 3 interface settings, set VLAN Layer 3 interface parameters according to the data plan. After the configuration is complete, click Apply.
- In the Configuring MAC/IP Binding region, select LAN4, in the displayed dialog box, select Enable the default VLAN, Enter the VLAN ID. After the configuration is complete, click Apply.
Configure the WAN port for the VoIP service.
Choose Advanced > Edge ONU VOIP WAN. In the right pane, perform the following operations:

Click NEW, In the displayed dialog box, set parameters based on the data plan.

After the configuration is complete, click Apply.
Set voice parameters.
Choose Advanced > Voice > Edge ONU VoIP Basic Configuration. In the right pane, set related parameters.

After the configuration is complete, click Apply.

Select Edge ONU and configuring the user Phone number. After the configuration is complete, click Apply.
The configuration is complete.
