When a device acts as a DNS client or DNS relay agent, you can configure mappings between domain names and IP addresses to implement static domain name resolution. The DNS client can then search for a domain name in the static DNS resolution table to obtain the mapping IP address directly. This improves the efficiency of domain name resolution. Static domain name resolution can be configured for commonly used domain names.
