- Configuring SEP Multi-Instance
Any port in an SEP segment may be blocked if no blocked port is specified. You can flexibly specify a port at an expected location as the blocked port, improving network forwarding performance and supporting traffic load balancing in SEP multi-instance scenarios. - Configuring the Topology Change Notification Function
The topology change notification function is configured on a device connected to an upper-layer or lower-layer network. When the topology of the upper-layer or lower-layer network changes, the device notifies the peer network of the topology change. Then, all devices on the peer network clear MAC address entries and ARP entries and learn new MAC addresses after the topology change, ensuring uninterrupted traffic transmission. - Maintaining SEP
