STaaS Solution 8.3.1 SFS Software Installation Guide (for DME and eDME) 01
Installing and Deploying SFS Using SmartKit (for eDME)
Prerequisites
- You have obtained the VHD image software installation package of the SFS management portal and the SFS software adaptation package.
- SmartKit has been installed. For details about how to install and run SmartKit, see "Deploying SmartKit" in SmartKit User Guide.
- You have installed Datacenter Virtualization Solution Deployment on SmartKit.
On the home page of SmartKit, click the Virtualization tab, click Function Management, and check whether the Datacenter Virtualization Solution Deployment tool is Installed. If the status is Not Installed, use either of the following methods to install the tool:
- On the home page of SmartKit, click the Virtualization tab, click Function Management, select Datacenter Virtualization Solution Deployment, and click Install.
- Import the software package for the basic virtualization O&M service (SmartKit_Version_Tool_Virtualization_Service.zip).
- On the SmartKit home page, click the Virtualization tab and click Function Management. On the page displayed, click Import. In the Import dialog box, select the software package for the basic virtualization O&M service and click OK.
- In the dialog box displayed, click OK. In the displayed Verification and Installation dialog box, click Install. In the dialog box indicating a successful import, click OK. The status of the Datacenter Virtualization Solution Deployment tool changes to Installed.
- A terminal running Windows is available and can communicate with the virtualization platform where SFS is to be installed. SmartKit has been installed on the terminal.
- You have planned four IP addresses required for installing SFS: SFS_DJ01_IP, SFS_DJ02_IP, GAUSSDB_FLOAT_IP, and MANAGE_FLOAT_IP.
- You have planned the passwords of users djmanager and root for logging in to SFS_DJ nodes.
- You have planned the password of user sfs_dj_admin for logging in to the SFS management portal, and those of users op_service_sfs and op_svc_sfs for SFS and IAM authentication.
The passwords of sfs_dj_admin, op_service_sfs and op_svc_sfs must be the same.
Procedure
- On the home page of SmartKit, click the Virtualization tab. Click Datacenter Virtualization Solution Deployment on the Site Deployment Delivery card.
If a message is displayed indicating that a new version is detected, ignore it and click Continue using the current functions.
- Click DCS Deployment. The Site Deployment Delivery page is displayed.
- Click Create Task, enter the task name, and click Create.
- On the Installation Policy page, select SFS Installation and click Next.
- On the Advanced Service Configuration page, click Download File Template on the left to download the LLD template, and fill in the "SFS Parameters" and "SFS VM Parameters" sheets based on the plan and requirements.
- Place the obtained VHD image file for installing SFS in the path specified by Template File in the LLD.
- Import the filled LLD template, parse parameters, and click Next.
If any error occurs, update the LLD template and upload it again until all configuration items are parsed successfully.
- On Pre-deployment Check, perform Automatic check and Manual check. After all check items are passed, click Execute Task.
- No operation is required on the Execute Deployment page. Wait until the installation is complete.
If an error is reported, click Details to view the error cause. After the fault is rectified, click Retry.
If the fault persists, contact virtualization tool installation engineers for SmartKit.
