Example for Configuring Internet Access Through PPPoE Dial-Up (LAN Interfaces in Different VLANs)

Example for Configuring Internet Access Through PPPoE Dial-Up (LAN Interfaces in Different VLANs)

Specifications

This example applies to all AR models of V300R019C10 and later versions.

Networking Requirements

In Figure 2-44, the router functions as a PPPoE client and obtains an IP address (user name user1 and password YsHsjx_202206) after being authenticated by the PPPoE server to provide Internet access to intranet users. LAN interfaces are connected to the intranet, and the IP address of the DNS server is 172.16.0.0/24. VLAN planning in this example is as follows: The network segments of VLANs 100 and 200 are 192.168.2.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 respectively.
