Port | Connector Type | Description | Available Components |
---|---|---|---|
HDD/SSD slot | - | Hard disks are optional and can be purchased from Huawei if necessary. |
NOTE:
In V600R022C00 and later versions, SSD-SATA240G-C and SSD-SATA960G-C hard disks are supported. |
100GE/40GE optical ports (0 to 1) | QSFP28 | Two 100GE/40GE auto-sensing Ethernet optical ports numbered from 100GE0/0/0 to 100GE0/0/1. A 100GE/40GE port works at 100 Gbit/s by default and can work at 40 Gbit/s when it has a 40GE optical module installed. |
|
25GE/10GE optical ports (0 to 7) | SFP28 | The 25GE/10GE and 100GE/40GE optical ports are multiplexed. Four 25GE/10GE ports correspond to one 100GE/40GE port (25GE/10GE ports 0 to 3, and ports 4 to 7 correspond to 100GE/40GE ports 0 and 1, respectively). 25GE/10GE optical ports and 100GE/40GE optical ports that are multiplexed cannot work at 25 Gbit/s and 100 Gbit/s simultaneously. By default, 25GE/10GE ports work at 10 Gbit/s and are numbered from 10GE0/0/0 to 10GE0/0/7. To configure a 25GE/10GE port to work at 25 Gbit/s, run the port mode 40GE interface 100GE0/0/x command. After the rate mode is switched, the 25GE/10GE port works at 25 Gbit/s when it has a 25GE optical module installed and can also work at 10 Gbit/s when it has a 10GE optical module installed. In addition, the corresponding 100GE/40GE ports can work normally only when they have 40GE optical modules installed. They cannot work normally when they have 100GE optical modules installed. NOTE:
|
|
40GE optical ports (2 to 3) | QSFP+ | Two 40GE Ethernet optical ports numbered from 40GE0/0/2 to 40GE0/0/3. | |
10GE optical ports (8 to 15) | SFP+ | Eight 10GE optical ports numbered from 10GE0/0/8 to 10GE0/0/15. | |
10GE/GE optical ports (16 to 27) | SFP+ | Twelve 10GE auto-sensing Ethernet optical ports numbered from 10GE0/0/16 to 10GE0/0/27. They can also be used as GE optical ports. | |
Console port | RJ45 | The console port is connected to a console for on-site configuration. You can use a console cable to connect the console port (RJ45) on the device to the COM port on your PC and use the terminal emulation program on the PC to access the CLI of the device to configure, manage, and maintain the device. | |
MGMT port | RJ45 | The out-of-band management port is a 10/100/1000M RJ45 autosensing Ethernet port. The port number is MEth0/0/0 and the default IP address is 192.168.0.1. You can connect this port to the network port or any reachable port on a PC through an Ethernet cable. Then, you can use STelnetv2 to access the CLI of the device or use the web browser to access the web UI to configure, manage, and maintain the device. NOTE:
The MGMT port cannot be used as a service port. |
|
USB | USB Type A | USB ports allow you to insert USB devices for system software upgrades. For details about the upgrade through a USB flash drive, see the Upgrade Guide delivered with the version. |
|
Power Supply System
The power supply system has two PAC600S12-PB AC power modules for 1+1 power redundancy.
Heat Dissipation System
The heat dissipation system consists of four FAN-036A-B modules working in 3+1 backup mode. From the front panel, the device provides a front-to-rear air flow. The fan module locates at the air exhaust of the system.
