Table 3-131 Ports on the USG6655F
Port Connector Type Description Available Components
HDD/SSD slot - Hard disks are optional and can be purchased from Huawei if necessary.
NOTE:

In V600R022C00 and later versions, SSD-SATA240G-C and SSD-SATA960G-C hard disks are supported.

Combo ports (0 to 7) RJ45+SFP The combo port is a logical port that consists of an electrical port and an optical port on the panel. The device has only one internal forwarding port. The electrical port and its corresponding optical port are multiplexed. They cannot work at the same time. (For example, when an optical port is activated, the corresponding electrical port is automatically disabled.) Electrical and optical ports share the same interface view and are numbered from GE 0/0/0 to GE 0/0/7. By default, the combo port works as an electrical port. You can run the combo enable fiber command to select an optical port or run the undo combo enable fiber command to select an electrical port based on networking requirements.
GE electrical ports (8 to 11) RJ45 Four 10/100/1000M autosensing Ethernet electrical ports numbered from GE 0/0/8 to GE 0/0/11.

Ethernet Cable

10GE optical ports (0 to 9) SFP+ Ten 10GE auto-sensing Ethernet optical ports numbered from 10GE 0/0/0 to 10GE 0/0/9. They can also be used as GE optical ports.
Console port RJ45 The console port is connected to a console for on-site configuration. You can use a console cable to connect the console port (RJ45) on the device to the COM port on your PC and use the terminal emulation program on the PC to access the command configuration interface of the device to configure, manage, and maintain the device through commands.

Console Cable

MGMT port RJ45

The out-of-band management port is a 10/100/1000M RJ45 autosensing Ethernet port. The port number is MEth0/0/0 and the default IP address is 192.168.0.1.

You can connect this port to the network port or any reachable port on a PC through an Ethernet cable. Then, you can use STelnetv2 to access the CLI of the device or use the web browser to access the web UI to configure, manage, and maintain the device.

NOTE:

The MGMT port cannot be used as a service port.

Ethernet Cable

USB 3.0 port USB 3.0 Type A

USB ports allow you to insert USB devices for system software upgrades. For details about the upgrade through a USB flash drive, see the Upgrade Guide delivered with the version.

NOTE:

This interface is supported in V600R021C00 and later versions.

  • USB 2.0-compliant USB flash drive
  • USB 3.0-compliant USB flash drive

Power Supply System

The power supply system has two PAC600S12-PB AC power modules for 1+1 power redundancy.

Heat Dissipation System

The heat dissipation system consists of four FAN-031A-B modules working in 3+1 backup mode. From the front panel, the device provides a front-to-rear air flow. The fan module locates at the air exhaust of the system.
