FusionSolar App Quick Guide(Residential Inverters in Japan)

Setting Active Power Control

Setting Active Power Control

Function Description

If Active power control mode is set to Unlimited, the inverter automatically runs with the rated output set to the maximum Output power. If it is set to Remote output control, the inverter remotely connects to the server of the electric power company to obtain scheduling information and controls the Maximum active power based on the mapping between the time and output value in the scheduling information.

Procedure

Connect to the inverter, choose Power adjustment > Active power control on the home screen, and set related parameters.

Table 5-10 Setting active power control parameters

Parameter

Description

Active power control mode

  • Unlimited: The inverter runs automatically with the rated output set to the maximum Output power.
  • Remote output control: The inverter remotely connects to the server of the electric power company to obtain scheduling information and controls the Maximum active power based on the mapping between the time and output value in the scheduling information.

Control area

Set this parameter to the area where the remote output control function is used. In some regions, the Remote output control function can be implemented only after the certificate is imported and enabled.

Output control duration (min)

Set this parameter to the time required for the device to change its output power from 0% to 100% or from 100% to 0%.

PV plant ID

Set this parameter to the PV plant ID.

Remote output control server

Set this parameter to the IP address or domain name of the server.

Selling surplus power

  • Disabled: The inverter controls the Output power according to the Remote output control command sent by the electric power company. The Output power of the PV plant cannot exceed the active power scheduling value sent by the electric power company.
  • Enabled: When the load power is less than or equal to the Remote output control command, the inverter Output power is based on the Remote output control value. Power can be bought or sold at the grid connection point. When the load power is greater than the Remote output control command, the inverter automatically adjusts the Output power to achieve zero power at the grid connection point. In this case, power cannot be sold at the grid connection point.

Certificate authentication

Determine whether to import and enable a certificate based on the actual situation.

Import certificate

Import the plant root certificate. During encrypted communication with the plant using HTTPS, the trusted verification is performed on the plant certificate.

PV module capacity (kW)

Set this parameter to the capacity of PV modules connected to the plant.

Plant AC capacity (kW)

Set this parameter to the AC capacity of the limited feed-in power from the plant.

Latest connection status

Status of the latest access to the plant server (successful or failed).

Latest connection time

Last time when the plant server is accessed.

Present control percentage (%)

Control in percentage in the current time range.

Import Scheduling File

If the system does not support remote network access, you can download the fixed scheduling plan file from the plant server and import the file to the system as the scheduling basis.

Connect server to test

After the server parameters are set, tap Connect server to test. The system connects to the server to check whether the server connection status and parameter settings are correct.
